i believe there should be put more thoughts about the balancing requests from players
a fair amount of players when they play an horde shooter wants to make an impact in every possible situation to appease their ego, and that’s fair
the power sword is a unique weapon with a great concept and lore, we are lucky to be able to use it in the game, but since many people complained about other players having too much fun with it at the expense of their ego now we got a balance patch where the power sword is just like every other melee weapon now
i wonder how far this trend will go, are we nerfing flamethrowers now? only because someone was sensible enough to bring an anti horde weapon in an horde shooter game?
what if the Zelot in question will revert back to using shotguns on hordes, suddenly we are going to have another problem, Zelots that make hordes disappear in a blood cloud with their shotguns because that is what they used to be able to do with their flamers
what about the Ogryn then? i’ve been called toxic with my Ogryn when i first started playing in the closed beta, because i used to shoot at hordes with my ripper gun, you know why i did that? Because i was scared of enemies that i didn’t know, this game is amazing, and you get emotionally involved in it and its great
we are blessed with some unique weapons from time to time that makes this game unique and great, every class has anti horde options, if you are complaining on a forum maybe you just missed it
on my part i’m just going to shoot hordes with my bolter from now on, just out of spite
