An Honest Question

Why is it that semi auto guns have large to huge clips, yet guns that are full auto have small to tiny ones? Wouldn’t it make more sense that the guns without scopes and that are made to be hip fired, as well as meant to deliver a large number of bullets actually HAVE a large number of bullets to fire before needing to be reloaded?

Imagine an M60 with just 25 rounds before needing to be reloaded and you get an idea of what I mean. And before people get into weight restrictions, there are a lot of lazguns out there that have no more weight than the power pack you slap in as a cartridge, and some of them are auto fire. That might go as an excuse for the non lazgun types, but that’s it. Even then an extended clip would make more sense than constant reloading; they’ve got to carry all those extra clips, right?
