I’ve been seeing more toxic players, myself. More in the last two months than in all my time in 'tide games before that combined. Not sure why it’s happening.

It is all new players.

You’ll see few very high level account and majority new players. But hardly see anything in between.

It is like all the middle time players are gone.

  • That’s why FS need to have set ammo & med allocations per player
  • Remove ammo and med pickups from ground
  • Medstations - 4 charges each time or remove medstations completely

All because players don’t share. Then players will realise their real limits.

So I decided this - If someone is scooping up all the ammo and meds - It means they have volunteered to go front line and first contact, so you know what happens then. Every time…every time.

My rule of thumb is if players want to kill elites I have almost killed, I stop attacking them and if they come for me I run towards the greedy players. With health hogs I refuse to pick them up in hopes they rage quit as I would prefer to play with a bot at that stage, same with the ammo hogs in hopes they run out as I stop tagging them in game items.

But my pet hatred is the useless clowns who have to be right up your backside when you check a crate in hopes they can get the item inside first. Along with that the other useless clowns who hold ammo or health packs and never deploy them. FS please give us a party kick option and a resource timer so these types of players cannot ruin others games anymore.

Haha that is the classic one.

It is really lucky for these players that there are 2 other players in the group I wouldn’t want to ruin their game.

Now players are “pretending” to deal with small horde to avoid monstrosity to leave for others or kite enemies back to you..

This game requires mobility not just for enemies, but what team mates can do to you.

I boil it down to player awareness sound/visual clutter.

A good trick can be to press Reload after a minute once you say the “Need Ammo” tag. Your character will start mentioning how they are out of ammo.

If I do stumble upon a crate I just ping the ammo and move on.

Same, finding and pinging ammo/grenades is a Psyker’s second job right after elimimating scab shooters and Specialists.
