After the Xbox launch I really dont see a reason why PC players are forced into crossplay

It’s their highest base HP pool and damage setting. So a bruiser smacking you on the head won’t hurt you more in aurics than it does in regular damnation, and he won’t take more shots to kill. But there will be many more of him, and many more specials, and spawns will be constant. Quantity has a quality all its own. It’s just not the same thing at all. Just go back and look at all the complaint threads before FS created aurics – people were constantly asking for hi intensity damnation shock troop gauntlet to be pinned to the board because it was just a fundamentally different challenge than anything else in the game. Why would we have constantly asked for that, if regular old damnation was essentially the same thing?

It was harder based on the things you said, but most importantly DIfFERANt. It’s like playing hardcore in PoE. It’s not harder. It’s a completely different game so and peopel like that.

Maelstrom amplifies that even more. Hell some of the modifiers actually help you

You know you can read?
I never said that… I ask for a possibility to limit the number of handicaps I will encounter.
I simply hate a ranking system that is the contrary, at least that’s my opinion, of a coop game.
I have no problem to help people… I have a problem with handicaps.

Controller players… not forbidding them, just limiting the annoyance they are.

You can try auric on heresy fyi. It’ll let you practice on the increased numbers

Let your definition of handicap be by the players merit and not his input. That’s been my point this entire time and there’s only so many ways I can say it. If you play damnation I will ne right there with you killing it. Same with auric. I don’t want to say I can do that on maelstrom because I haven’t done it or practiced

At this point, I will invite you to read the thread.

I can’t aim properly but I can do every difficulty in this game that’s I’ve tried. You have to see how that contradicts itself?

And to be fair, I watched your gameplay vid and you seemed worse at shooting than me…liek you are slow as heck

*except auric maelstrom and auric HISTG.

Which is the entire point of this discussion. Not being forcibly matched with controller players in these difficulties.

As you used your gun 4 times 10 seconds… sure.

I’m a zealot I know how to play my guy. You were really slow to shoot, had no awareness to the pox burst era and got hit many times, your melee was defensive only, you hardly used yoru ult in good situations, and your one dude Carrie’s you in 2 of the tough situations.

I think we need an Exterminatus for this thread at this stage, and just have a “steam crossplay pls” memorial for it :joy:

You’d rather be forced to play with bad MNK players rather than good controller players? Liek do you see what I’m trying to point out?

Yeah… really slow…

Play a veteran in auric and we will see how you perform better than me. This is exactly what you said.
You can do it.

No I msaying you did really bad. Not me. You

Honestly, you’ve inspired me to try maelstrom again tonight. If someone has bad as you can do it so easily, then I’m gonna take a dump on it…with my controller

Honestly, yes.
Most have at least basic aim and can be directed, after I revive them two or three times. The truly bad ones leave and the other guys listen.

I prefere an experienced kbm player to the greatest controller god. 100%.

Ok what if someone went back and forth from controller to MNK throughout the match? Like a 50/50 guy? Or are you a strict “no controller” kinda dude

Using a controller for any sort of fps aiming is an absolute disgrace in my eyes.

I’ve been raised on Quake 3 and pinpoint twitch aiming with mouse. That’s the most fun way to play to me. Anything else is just unprecise fumbling. Especially when you take away the controllers aim assist.

What measure of true skill is there when you’ve got a literally snapping magnet helping you aim? That’s why I can’t take controller people boasting about their aim seriously.

Also movement. Turning slowly is killing me.

Ok but like what if the person is MNK for the hard stuff but like is only using controller for the elevator parts

I did not say I was good, I have even said it.
I play something I never tested until yesterday, so yes…
I use to play zealot, that’s my main.

But I wanted to play infantry gun since they finally made them good. So, this is the beginning with a weapon. This doesn’t change my mind, you cannot aim properly.
You have avoided your gun for the most part of the mission. The few times you used it, the aiming was not good at all.

The problem is that you don’t read. We don’t talk if you can’t handle a difficulty or your performance. We talk about controller players in general.

By the way… I am far from the best, and I have always said it.
Sorry to say it, but no, you don’t aim better than me. At least, your video did not show it

No don’t do an other video, tbh as I was testing infantry gun I just wanted to show you what I would have wanted to see. If you had shown me a game with lot of gun use with a controller and that did as bad as I did (in auric), then here I would be impressed.
But, by what I have seen, no. And to be complete, there’s like 40 seconds that give true info how a controller performs at aiming in your video.
But usually, on my zealot I play revolver, something that is easier to use at long range of your targets. But infantry gun seems good, especially Graia that can shoot round by round with a good precision.

Lol just no my guy.

Why don’t you simply accept that you’re pretty okay for a controller guy and leave it at that?

You will never convince me or any of the other guys playing the hardest modes, that controllers can cut it. Why waste so much time arguing?
