A very simple way of making deeds significantly better

One of the many, many problems with deeds is that they are actually, in many cases contraproductive to do if someone wants good loot. The reason for this is that deeds don’t give a QP bonus, which makes the already finnicky chance of getting an Emperor’s-tier reward for completing the map even worse. And only the hardest deeds give Emperor’s as reward for the deed itself. Good luck completing those with all books to get decent reward for map completion, tho. Although the drop rates are not public, I think it can be agreed upon, based on experience, that an Emperor’s is better than two General’s, as far as the chance to get Veteran items is concerned. Therefore, in almost every case, doing a deed yields two chests of garbage, which contains worse loot than the single Emperor’s vault you’d have a pretty good chance to get in a QP.

The fix is simple, and I’m sure a single moderately talented intern could implement it between two coffee breaks. So we might see it in the game in about 2028. When doing a deed, add a “Deed Bonus” for map completion, which would be really just a renamed but otherwise equal substitute for the Quick Play Bonus.

I rather they did away with deeds and just let us set the deed conditions into maps at our leisure

@GreenColoured Yes please.

We already know what we want each time we play.

Maybe a “random” option would be nice also.

But basically we are choosing the deeds depending on the deed conditions.
