a big reload speed buff after a special slug has been loaded
TBH there should be a blessing ācompetetive reloadā which allows you to load two shells at a time + increased reload speed the longer you reload. Like each consequent shell speeds up reload by 5-15%.
Also reload speed STILL doesnāt work on special shell loading animation, it should be fixed too.
Shouldnāt be a blessing if itās a real technique, itās something that professional soldier should be able to do naturally. Loading those things take too much time for what they do (almost nothing of value), any buffs to them is justified at this point, and it must not take any bless slots.
Overall, I believe leaning towards more stagger would be the right way to create a niche for shotguns. Make them the CC range weapon effectively, capable of applying huge amount of stagger to a group of mobs, while also doing decent damage to boot.

I agree, these guns are already mid to low tier, the least they can do is add a reload blessing so you have some build flexibility
They are fine but what do I care. Everything gets buffed so maybe itās time for shotties againā¦
Full Drum - Shotgun is now equipped with a drum magazine, full reload.
Pros - A full magazine.
Cons - It takes up a blessing.
The problem is i donāt think FatShark will risk changing blesses so soon, though a test server be nice. In my opinion i feel blessings should add gameplay changing elements that expand how weapons behave and not buffs for how many enemies you stagger, or kill, or whatever. the only blessing in game that does anything like this are the sticky grenades on the Rumbler.
Anyway, A blessing that speeds up the reload would be a nice buff, maybe it could be a stack? heres a idea i just had.
Catachan Reload Technique - Every kill you get 1 stack of a max of 6. 1 stack is used to reload one extra shell per reload. The stacks degrade per stack every 2 seconds without a kill.
This is a pretty balanced Blessing in my opinion. A max of 6 stacks is fair as youāll be killing lots of fodder enemies to keep the stack at max, but itāll be harder with armored or tanky enemies. If you want to keep the stacks up you would have to get reassuring kills with fodders like walkers to keep your stacks high at the cost of ammo. moments when you switch to melee for too long or there is a lull in combat you just gotta start over.
