Firestaff stats are unsurprising, cop melees I’ve no clue since they’re a paid DLC class with BOTH of those weapons competing for a top 3 slot, and they somehow each won one. Best guess is the cop update was huge enough (being the first DLC class) that a bunch of people played him for a while, and I still see a few people playing popo to this day. Also helps that those two melees do happen to be BiS for em.
Yah my thoughts were popularity plus more varied weapon selection among other classes dispersing the kills… but Dang1.3 billion to 1.4 billion WHO IS USING the maul n shield and why should i be using it!
…the marks may also be a factor…wait a minute shield doesn’t specify marks… the game is rigged who’s really #3 weapon!!!
Actually think people underestimate trash, usually focused on the big threats while the tiny guys get in a lot of hits in… sometimes we should be killing them rather than wanting to take down that big one. Was same way in VT2
Nothing surprising about that tbh. The amount of vets /psykers/scum I’ve seen dying to a poke from them is really high. They are like that one small pink rat with a stick in Vermintide 2 , just there to stab you in the back….+ people having tunnel vision on shooting.
The shields are two marks I can’t pick a favorite on, I think they were really well done.
Groaner downs are 100% inflated by trappers and low difficulty play. Its not like the buttpoke slave rats in Vermintide that randomly down you in one hit when you fall below 50 THP as a squishy. Maybe I’m coping but if I get slapped by hordes its usually because I got hit by some ethereal net just prior…
One time i literally was watching a horde keep spawning in middle of area behind some players was so weird maybe… they were dropping down. Was on the new Admonish map right outside the lock in boss fight mid map… lucky only once.
Well its going by kills and the dueling swords are mostly killing more elites then hoards. The sock mauls tend to carve through hoards pretty well. If this list was based off damage done the dueling sword would 100% be in the top 3, maybe also bolter would be my guess (mostly just because its popular).
Cause it’s good, while losing in damage to regular and arbites shock maul, it got great speciale, ability to block, easy and variable move set, stagger and ok damage.
No fundamentals help against one silent groaner aiming at your back.
There is a special place in Hell for the game designers who introduced that aspect of “gameplay” in Tide games, just next to people responsible for the IKEA’s furniture assembly instructions.
