2014 error after Arbites/Battle for Tertium Update

Issue Description (Required):

EDIT: It appears to be an issue with the Veteran class. So far all other classes work.

To preface: I know there are pinned posts for investigating error codes, but I figured I’d still make a separate topic.

With over 200 hours, I’ve never had any issues prior to this update.

I join a game and about 5 minutes in I get a 2014 error which disconnects me and everyone else from the server.

More Details: Game will run fine and all of a sudden everyone starts sliding/floating etc. then boots me to the character screen with error 2014.

I will mention that a friend and I played the update early in the day without any issues, but later in the day I booted Darktide up again and I wasn’t able to play due to 2014.

As of now… I cannot play Darktide at all due to this.

Attempted Solutions (Optional):

NO MODS

Restarted PC.

Restarted internet.

Deleted data in the appdata roaming Fatshark folder.

Completely reinstalled game on a separate SSD.

Flushed DNS.

Platform (Required):

PC - Steam

Xfinity High speed internet.
Hard wired into modem.
West Coast USA

I am having this same issue (on PS5) error 2014 it seems to only occur when an Arbites joins the match after it starts. No idea o any ways to prevent it

One issue appears to be related to the veterans ‘Focus Target!’ ability, some sort of conflict with whatever buffs come out of it once the target dies while an arbiter is in the party. I’m assuming it’s an issue with the way their unique mark works with the dog, though obviously i can’t tell you why. But i can confirm that is one type of 2014 error.

And no, i do not use mods.

I was just hopping on to give an update.

Yeah! I realized it is only when I play my Veteran. I thought I tried another character out, but I was wrong and it was only when I was playing my Veteran.

All other classes work after going through and playing them.
